I was slightly kidding around when I asked him to do it again, but not really. Jonas just recently became apart of the Fairfax Surf Shop skate team, congrats man!

Skatefest 2011 hydrated by vitaminwater® RECAP

Fairfax Surf Shop & Wakefield Rec Center upped the ante for this year's Skatefest event by teaming up with the folks over at vitaminwater®. The turnout was fantastic and everybody was staying hydrated in the heat thanks to vitaminwater®. I was in attendance to shoot the event, so here's a recap of the event above. An extended version will be released soon, be patient...my computer is kind of on the fritz right now. Skatefest 2010 Wrap-Up

Thanks to everybody that came out yesterday and supported the Skatefest 2010 event at Wakefield Skatepark. Alex Bransford has been in town and stopped by to take first place in the street course finals, throwing out such tricks as lofty fs flips and big impossibles over the ramp to ramp gap, and way too proper bs overcrooks amongst other notable tricks. Inside the park, Rob Fall took home first place for the street park finals. These are just the 19 and over crowd, the young guns did their thing as well. Such rippers as Elliot Katz, Jason Lippe, and Kevin Ha all killed it on the street course. Nate Dally killed it on the mini ramp contest, as expected. The Fairfax Surf Shop team held a demo inside the skatepark where everybody did some pretty gnar tricks...Carter Howard surprised everybody by throwing down a serious hardflip over the big rail in the park. This is just a vague review of what went down. Also, Jason Choi is officially back on the Fairfax Surf Shop skate team!
